Hi! I’m Ashten. I’m a mom and children’s book author who believes in the quiet magic of childhood—and in the brave little moments that shape who we become.

For years, my husband encouraged me to write a children’s book. I loved the idea but never had a solid story—until one day, in the shower, a story showed up and didn’t let go. That moment changed everything.

I write joyful, heartfelt stories for real-life families—the kind where books are read in silly voices, rhyming songs happen at dinner, and story time is just another way to say I love you. I write for the kids who light up during read-alouds, and for the grown-ups who bring those stories to life.

I live in California with my husband and our two young kids, who inspire just about everything I do. Right now, I’m deep in the thick of parenting and writing my next book.
